ABOUT
US

TecnoCampus MotorSports was founded in 2022 by a group of 10 students following the pandemic, motivated by the opportunity to innovate and advance in the automotive sector.

Since then, we have grown significantly and currently have 60 students from nine different grades, coming from the three TecnoCampus schools.

This growth has led to our recognition as a key multidisciplinary project within the university, with the goal of designing and building an electric single-seater to compete in Formula Student by 2025.

Development of the VoltCat

This season we competed in Formula Student Portugal and Spain, taking a significant step forward in our development as a team. In Portugal, despite an electrical failure that prevented us from completing the technical inspection, we solidified the quality of our static tests and gathered valuable feedback that we applied in the following competition.

In Spain, the results were very positive: we passed the battery and mechanical technical inspections for the first time, and achieved 16th place out of 37 in the design test, outperforming several teams with over a decade of experience. These achievements reinforce our motivation and strengthen our commitment to growing as a competitive team within Spain, with our sights set on expanding into Europe.
